My Story

​

Originally from Brownsville, Texas, Miryam has called Austin home for the past 12 years. A graduate of University of Texas at San Antonio, Miryam began her career in the beauty industry in 2002. What was originally a temporary job option, a love for makeup led to a lifetime career representing several cosmetic brands such as Stila, Shiseido, Tarte and Dior.  As a cosmetic trainer, account executive and makeup artist, Miryam has worked with women of all ages and backgrounds. As a passionate educator, she has trained employees throughout the Midwest in various retailers such as Sephora, Ulta Beauty and Nordstrom. After several years traveling across the country, Miryam decided to enjoy life as a stay-at-home mom in 2011.

With over 20 years in the makeup industry, Miryam created WINKbeauty in 2019, an artistry and makeup service in Austin, Texas.  With a passion for bridal makeup, Miryam brings a clean and natural aesthetic to her artistry and allowing a woman’s spirit and personality to shine through.  

As a beauty researcher, Miryam is continuously testing and keeping up with the latest trends in order to offer her clients the best options on their skin care and beauty needs.
